And thus, the entire point of Red Light Center. Let’s get to our review.
About Red Light Center
Red Light Center is a freemium game. Meaning, you can start off playing free, but if you want to experience the full game, you’ll need to pay. Red Light Center features numerous niches and fetishes, including LGBT themes. But Red Light Center is far more expansive than sexual endeavors and dating.
Red Light Center is a massive multiplayer gaming experience. There’s tons to do, including attending events, getting a job, becoming a higher status person (think a club owner or designer), hanging out at weddings, and more.
Essentially, Red Light Center offers gamers a second life experience. The game is huge with thousands of players worldwide enjoying it.
You live and work and party in Amsterdam. That’s the theme. And such a theme gives way to a lot of obvious party aspects.
There’s a currency called Rays that you use to buy things and upgrade your membership. Wanna get into a concert? You’ll need Rays. There are seemingly infinite ways to customize your avatar into the person you want to portray. Your clothes, hair style and type, tattoos, build, and so much more are on the table during your customization process.
The multiplayer facet to Red Light Center is a labyrinth. You can view profiles and send messages and discover people interested in all the same things as yourself. This isn’t only about sex, it’s about virtual friendships and living your best fantasy life.
In Red Light Center, the sex is ongoing. The game features stripping animations and ways to explore your sexual freedom with other consenting adults. You can meet a virtual connection and explore one another in a virtual setting.
Graphics
Red Light Center graphics are pretty darn good. There’s a chat that runs in the left space of your screen. You have 360 degree movement ability. Basically, you can swivel around and explore Amsterdam at all angles.
The art is good, but not great. It can appear a bit choppy with use of hard lines. This is likely a result of the expansive customization allowances. The more customizations, the more the software has to great generic hooks which allow the art to fit in with other portions of the game.
Technology and Costs
If you want to partake in Red Light Center’s multiplayer community, you’ll need a PC and Windows.
In order to play, you’ll download their free software. There are many free aspect to Red Light Center you can explore. But if you want to get into the top experiences, you’ll need to pay $16.99 per month.
If you explore Red Light Center in free mode, you’ll see an UPGRADE TO VIP sticker in your upper right portion of the screen. It’s not overly intrusive by any means. Another UPGRADE ad sometimes appears as a billboard or sign throughout areas of the game. Again, it’s not so bad. But they definitely encourage the upgrade.
Conclusion
Red Light Center is a massive multiplayer adult game that allows players to discover a second life version of themselves. Meet, chat, and hook up with other likeminded adults. Hang at bars, attend concerts, become whatever profession you’ve ever dreamed. This is a freemium game, so you can start for free, but at some point you’ll likely want to upgrade and pay for the premium side.
The graphics are good considering the vast amount of customizations the game allows. There’s lots to explore in Red Light Center so it’s difficult to get bored.
